What, exactly, do you need included in the budget? (Tower/OS/monitor/keyboard/mouse/etc) When do you plan on building/buying the PC? Note: beyond a week or two from today means any build you receive will be out of date when you want to buy. No set budget necessarily, but I generally am not interested in the top of the line stuff, I generally just look for the highest price/performance, including buying any items used if I need to or from older gen platforms. What is your maximum budget before rebates/shipping/taxes? I am looking for a build that will do the best at 1440P/144hz gaming. Gaming/general workstation/light video editing and rendering. What will you be doing with this PC? Be as specific as possible, and include specific games or programs you will be using. 
I generally upgrade every 5-7 years, so I'm just looking to get parts that will still be usable in the future (for reference, this was my exact thought process when building my current PC).
I am not generally interested in the best of the best, but instead price/performance parts. I would prefer to go ITX for this as I'm trying to downsize everything on my desk to make more room for productivity. Looking to finally upgrade my PC with a brand new build.
